In current wastewater treatment industry, there are many treatments & degradation techniques to remove pollutants. Most of these methods are high in cost and normally cause subsequent contamination to the environment. This research is to develop a low-cost wastewater treatment system. It is simple to operate, with all-natural components and no subsequent contamination to the environment. Micronutrient Technique (MNT) was applied together with Vermifiltration (VF) and Natural Media Filtration (NMF). We named this technique "MVN". MVN technique is a good low cost, medium efficient, zero sludge and zero odour wastewater treatment system for rural and off grid applications.
