This research developed a model of graduate employability by analysing the interaction of job seeker's various personal, social and psychological characteristics and their impact on job search outcome using the lens of Social Cognitive Career Theory. The study focused on the job search experience of graduates in developing countries particularly Pakistan. By implementing the framework developed as a result of this study, students will be able to better prepare themselves for the job market, whereas educators and policymakers can help students by providing the required resources and support based on their personal characteristics and circumstances.
