This research focuses on a newer type controller system modelling of a variable speed wind power generator. Compared to the traditional controllers, this can bring more accurate responses in terms of fault occurring condition. This outcome contributes to the better performance analysis in controlling of the variable speed wind generator. Simulation results along with the theoretical analysis, carried out in this research work, will aid the modelling of wind energy generator and its control system in a more efficient way. The initial laboratory setup is also another important aspect of this research which will facilitate further research in this field.
