Effect of viscosity and confinement on phase separation of binary fluid mixtures investigated in the first part of the thesis. This study try to give insights on intrinsic mechanisms of how oil-water mixtures phase separate and how cancer cells aggregate. In addition swimming of a Marangoni surfer at fluid-fluid interface is studied as a second topic of the thesis. This study is useful in understanding of biofilm formation and another interesting application in designing artificial microswimmer which can be used in drug delivery.
