E-Health promises many benefits in improving the quality and efficiency of healthcare to its stakeholders. Globally, earlier studies on E-Health uncover that the adoption rate of these systems is unsatisfactory. Furthermore, despite E-Health being part of the Australian government policy since 1999, the current body of knowledge on e-Health is relatively inapt. Amir’s research through a qualitative narrative inquiry, investigated the adoption of My Health Record and it uncovers the barriers and drivers of this system. The findings of this research provides a framework to guide policymakers to deliver a better and efficient healthcare system.
