This thesis examines how white, and middle or upper class female migrants from Colombia experience their privilege living in Melbourne, Australia. The research shows how privilege travels with these women. Nonetheless, their privilege changes as it is contextual. The women are able to profit from some aspects of their privilege, they lose others and gain new ones. This ethnographic research contributes to the literature on intersectionality and adds to the scare scholarship on privileged female migrants from the Global South.
