Emphasis on recycling and efficient use of natural resources has increased the demand for recycled trucks, and one of the strategy to fill this demand is to optimize the remanufacturing process. Through the use of process mapping and mathematical tools, this body of work was able to demonstrate that optimization is possible and would increase the efficiency of the remanufacturing process. The framework developed here is generic and can be used to find the optimized remanufacturing line and it can also be applied to other field as well that employs work scheduling.
