Periodic forcing of biochemical networks

A mathematical model of how biological cells respond to fluctuating environments was developed. The results were used to interpret cell behaviour under controlled dynamic inputs. The results revealed that cell behaviour could be controlled by changing the characteristics of the input dynamics. This work will have future relevance to biotechnology and medicine.
