The household rainwater collection by using a rainwater tank is well known to the society. However, an outcome or a financial benefit of using rainwater depends on many factors which are mostly measured by thumb-rule or previous experience. This research will bring the up-to date knowledge in calculating rain water harvesting outcome in a simplistic form. The end users will be assured with more realistic and reliable outcome considering the climatic, spatial, and other variables on rainwater savings. The policy makers can decide present and future rebates to install a rain water tank to benefit the society.
