Bacterial cellulose is a bio polymer produced by certain bacteria, renowned for its high purity, strength, and biocompatibility. Producing BC from agricultural wastes and by products, offers an eco-friendly alternative to conventional methods, reducing environmental waste and promoting sustainable practices. Utilising these wastes not only lowers production costs but also mitigates the environmental impact of agricultural by-products. In the biomedical industry, BC serves as an excellent material for tissue scaffolds due to its ability to support cell attachment and proliferation, enhancing tissue regeneration and healing. This approach bridges sustainable agriculture with advanced medical applications, benefiting both society and the environment.
