The thesis delivers intelligent vulnerability analysis in the Internet of Things ecosystem. It presents a comprehensive literature review of this research area and concludes the promising future of smart homes. To ensure security and safety in a smart home, both static and dynamic approaches are developed to explain what kinds of scenarios are unsafe and insecure. The discussion covers simulation techniques relying on a testbed to present the usage of smart homes considering the real outdoor environment. The developed testbed demonstrates how a smart home interacts and why a vulnerability is introduced.
