This study investigated and supported that transformational leadership, innovative culture, and workplace digitalisation are significant drivers of employee engagement. Besides, innovative culture partially enhances employee engagement through workplace digitalisation. Digital literacies and rewards-recognition strengthen employee engagement. The results suggest that industry practitioners who intend to raise employee engagement can first focus on fostering employees' perception of workplace digitalisation, and then supplement this with a supportive environment, such as digital literacies and rewards-recognition. Engaged workforce are crucial as a competitive advantage to unlock organisations' values, especially with the accelerated workplace digitalisation post-COVID-19 pandemic.
