Securing the virtual infrastructure in the laaS cloud computing model

My research project mainly targets the security problem of the cloud computing model, especially the hosted virtual machines in the infrastructure- as-a-service model. With my research team, we were able to develop a new virtualization-aware security solution that can protect a guest operating system from outside the virtual machine itself, and without installing any security software inside the running virtual machine. The developed security framework has the ability to defend against the new zero-day threats that can target operating systems' kernel.
