This study was influenced by the global pandemic faced by the whole world. Business models were forced to alter their trading methods, and some were even forced to close. And the apparel industry was taken by surprise when stores were forced to shut down and operate on an online platform. Trying on clothes is considered a major aspect of shopping for clothes. And reducing online returns is considered to be the most prominent aim for online clothing retailers while promoting sustainability. This study aims to understand and investigate the knowledge, understanding, usage and future adoption of virtual fitting rooms by Australian consumers and present a critical review of factors that impact consumer adoption of Virtual Fitting Rooms.
