The Empowered Patient: Bridging the online world and outpatient services with digital technology by understanding co-experience

This thesis investigated outpatient service experience at a public hospital in Melbourne Australia. The investigation included the use of Design Theories and Activity Theory to investigate how digital technologies could be introduced into the outpatience service space to agument the servce experience of the group (co-experiece).
