The Utilisation of Spent Coffee Grounds in Manufacutring Alkali-Activated Unfired Clay Bricks and Cement Bricks

Who discovered the potential use of Spent Coffee Grounds as additives in manufacturing low-temperature building bricks. Spent Coffee Grounds are common organic waste traditionally being disposed of in landfills and the decomposition is harmful to the environment. His study showed that the incorporation of Spent Coffee Grounds as additives in alkali-activated clay bricks was feasible and could potentially reduce a significant amount of Spent Coffee Grounds being sent to landfills.
