This study aimed to determine if Scrum (a project management methodology that emphasises teamwork, accountability, and an iterative progress toward a well-defined goal) could be used as an integrated business solution development methodology for a medical device manufacturer in the Australian medical technology context and if so, determine what aspects of Scrum are most applicable. Despite contributions from various research streams to the literature over the past 20 years, there remain significant gaps for contemporary servitisation researchers in providing managers and practitioners guidance in co-developing integrated business solution offerings with critical customers. The intended audience is practitioner and academic with contributions to the integrated business solutions development literature and a potential model for practitioners to implement for manufacturers in the medical technology industry.
