A Course in Miracles (ACIM) is a programme of non-dualism that contains 365 daily workbook lessons. It is a self-study programme aimed at restoring mental wellbeing through deconstruction and reconstruction of dualistic mental schemas. By causing a belief in separation, dualistic mental schemas are indicated to negatively affect mental well-being. This study assessed if ACIM participation affected mental wellbeing and whether ACIM could be viewed as a treatment programme for poor mental health. Findings show ACIM can be viewed as a potential treatment option for poor mental well-being, and that ontological orientation may play a significant role in mental health.
