It was already proven that dual-rotor system has a better performance in extracting energy from wind in steady state condition. However, the utility companies weren't sure how this type of wind turbine responses to disturbances coming from network. In this research it is concluded that dual-rotor system has positive impact on angle and voltage stability margins while it has negative impact on frequency stability margin.
