WEBRTC based broadcasting for physical surveillance

This thesis discussed the architecture and implementation of a network recorder system that includes WebRTC as the main streaming technology. The main idea of this proposal is to provide a new streaming concept that enhances users' experience as well as minimizing the processing resources. This thesis includes a comprehensive explanation of WebRTC technology, the architecture of the system and experiments to benchmark performances with another streaming technology: FFserver. Experiment results and future improvements are also included in the final part of this thesis.
